This boy came from Tornado Ridge Farm in Iowa. Cyclone's wool is exceptionally beautiful. If one of our lambs has a crazy amount of wooliness when they are born, we know exactly where they got it from. Cyclone is one woolly character to have around the farm!
This handsome man is Cyclone's son. He is one force to be reckoned with. We always know where he has been. Arlo is known for destroying a fence or hay feeder for a good time.
Dan is one of Woolly Treasured Farm's bred and raised sheep. Dan has an excellent top line and confirmation. Dan placed well at the Iowa State Fair and placed in the top for AOB at the Wi Sheep and Wool Fest. We are looking forward to the lamb he will produce.
Wade Jr. is also one of our flock sires. Wade has very nice wool and the perfect babydoll face. He brings the size and brute with his confirmation. Wade is a ram that is definately rough and tough out in the pasture.
This is one lucky wether. Gomer is the only wether on the farm and he gets to live with the ladies all year. Gomer is the big square lump with a furrowed brow out in the pasture. Gomer was born 2018.
Ethel was born 2014 to one of our foundation ewes named Mamie. She is the sheep that will eat whatever you give her. Ethel has nice lambs. She was once the star of a costume contest dressed up as a bag of cotton candy. Ethel is very sweet, but when she is in a mood she will bump your leg just to let you know she is there!
Thelma Lou is my daughter's favorite. She is also known as "long tail" because she is the only sheep on the farm with more of "teddy bear" tail. Thelma is certainly the boss of the barn and requires her food! Her son is Arlo, one of our stud rams.
Mamie is one of our foundation ewes. She is so sweet and always welcomes a chin scratch. Mamie is an excellent mother and has great lambs every year.
Penny came to us from Jody Fuller in South Dakota. She is a fierce mama and has beautiful lambs.
Cricket is not one of our breeding ewes, but she is a favorite. Cricket was born in the amniotic sac and very tiny. She looked like a little black cricket with spindly legs. Though small, Cricket thrived with no outside assistance. Cricket is a little character and jumps up on you like a dog.
The name Nora means "light". When Nora was born she was the wooliest little thing and was always bouncing around the barn like a little light.
Clara is Aunt Bee's twin sister. She does not have quite the personality that Aunt Bee does but, she is a beautiful ewe! Clara is a great mother and always has nice lambs.
This little ewe lamb is something special! "Just Peachy" in no way, was leaving this farm. Peachy is a huge favorite of one lucky little girl! We look forward to watching her grow! Peachy placed 2nd in Lead Line this year!
Aunt Bee is for sure a farm favorite! Aunt Bee has been with us for a while. She is originally from Wisconin. She has one of those faces that you can't miss. When it is lambing time you can bet Aunt Bee is gonna take her time! During lambing season Aunt Bee is sprawled out looking more miserable than the rest! Aunt Bee was born 2014.
Dixie is easily one of my favorite sheep in and out of the show ring! Dixie has the sweetest most curious personality. Dixie placed 1st in her class at the Iowa State Fair, 2nd in her class at All American Junior Fair, 2nd in Junior show Nationals, 3rd Open Show Nationals, Grand Champion Ewe Fleece at Nationals, and Grand Champion Babydoll ewe Wi Sheep and Wool Fest.
